Last night, I bought Fable TLC for PC and my video card is a pretty good ati card. Well, turned out to be the game doesn't support Ati Radeon cards much. They had a small list and mine wasn't listed. I already installed it and stuff and had to uninstall it. I bought it at GameStop for $19.99. Is there a way I can get my money back or something? I don't like the idea that I have it laying around..

I already pre-ordered Fable 2 at Gamestop but I wanted to play Fable 1.

(I'm in love with RPG's)

Buy a new card? You're going to need it for Fable II anyway (if you're buying it for PC, that is)

You can try to return it some stores will take it others will not, I think fable 1 is for the xbox as well not positive.

whats wrong w/ ATI? I'm using an HD3850 and its working great. Some games don't support it well?

ATI cards are great. Some games just don't support vertain video cards...

If a product is faulty, the law says it must be replaced/refunded. If you want to return a working product (like you are) then it comes down to whether the place you bought it from will let you. If not, theres not much you can do about it.

Note that you won't really be able to get any money back on the game, since due to piracy concerns most places will not accept trade ins for PC games (since it's easy to buy a game, steal the cd key, then try and return the game). You might be able to sell it to someone you know though.

i would say sell it on ebay, likely you will get at most half the price, but money is money - at least get back some. You should also cancel your preorder for Fable 2 - they are both likely to run on the same kind of graphics cards. You COULD spend $40-50 on a new graphics card (maybe less for one that runs it on minimum specs) and you can buy it from new egg.

Fable 2 is XBox exclusive. His computer specs are irrelevant. And I'm not sure if you are allowed to sell opened software on ebay.

You could keep it and use it as a trade in. You could probably trade it for more than you paid for it in some stores.

WROOONG. It's coming out on PC too. Only we have to wait a bit for our version.

As much as I'd like to believe this, quote or it's not confirmed. As far as I know they have not said anywhere that there will be a PC version, only that they want to get one system down before even considering another. While this leaves the possibility open, it in no way confirms a PC release. So until they say its coming, Fable 2 qualifies as XBox 360 exclusive.

That's what I thought. So my statement before about it being an XBox 360 exclusive still stands, as a PC version has yet to be confirmed. I fervently hope that it doesn't stand in the future, though :P

I didn't know that, i don't follow Fable at all, i was just going off of what I thought everyone else said. I thought he said the problem was with his graphics card O-o (or is that not an ATI radeon, I don't really know the PC too well let alone the companies that make them). And you can just about sell ANYTHING on ebay.
